Owl Plushie – Red & Blue

I made this last week. I wanted to wait to post it for when I made two of them, but I haven’t finished the other one still. Even though I made this one in a day…

I’m really quite happy with this owl. I like the simple design, and the color scheme. I hope to make quite a few of them, I even made patterns for it! They’re a good size too. I know owls have become quite popular these days, one of those fads, but that’s not a bad thing! I just thought I might try to make something that goes along with what people like.

Enjoy!

Pink & Black Cube

I made this little guy this morning. I desperately need to go to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s and get more felt and buttons! This cute cube came out pretty good, but I made the mistake of the sides being too thin, so he can’t stand up on his own. You have to lean him back, which I guess is ok, but I know I can improve upon it for the next one!

DIY Teddy Trooper!

I still have to buy some really tiny paint brushes and do a little touch up work/detailing (like his nose and the brim of his hat). But, other than that he’s done! He’s kind of fun, I like pink and black together and it’s a simple little design I did. Enjoy!

Plushies! Blue Gorilla!

I finally finished the blue gorilla I was working on for my brother. School got really busy and then I graduated with my two degrees! Afterwards I moved back home and my room is an utter disaster. I have way to much stuff and I can’t do anything! So working on my sewing has become difficult. My room is still a mess and I really have to work on it but it the gorilla was staring at me waiting to be finished, so I did it!

I’m really happy with it. I think I keep getting better at making these plushies, they’re hard work but I love the reward of having them finished. When I make maybe 2 or 3 more big animals and about 5 to 8 more small little guys, I’ll get my etsy shop open!

Here he is!

I hope you all enjoy it!

A Muu or Two

I made these two little guys last night. The brown one is for my dad, the grey one will become part of inventory!

I enjoy making these guys and I hope one day they’ll have a happy friendly home to go to!

More Muu

I made two more Muu guys. I forgot to bring plushie stuffing back to school with me though, so they’re unfinished in that respect.

I’m having fun with the color combinations! I need to buy more buttons and colored felt! The brown one is going to be for my dad =].

What do you all think of my Muus?

Gorilla

I’m getting close to being done with the blue gorilla plushie for my brother. He’s half stuffed now. He looks kind of silly so I’m not sure about posting the picture. He needs to be fully sewn and stuffed. But, since I always show an ‘in progress’ picture of my other big plushies, I’ll show one of this guy!

The design was taken from one of my brother’s favorite dunny’s. He’s quite exaggerated, but I think he’ll come out nice!

My Family of Muu

Here they are all together, lined up looking nice. I got the idea of their design from an artist I like. I made them my own though, of course.

Muu Plushies

Hi everyone! Yesterday I made quite a few of my new type of plushie. They’re called Muu(s), James came up with the name. It’s pronounced moo =]

I have six of them right now, once I get to about twelve I will open up an etsy shop to sell them, and you can all buy one! How exciting right? My bigger animal plushies take a lot longer to make, but as I make them they’ll go for sale on my etsy shop as well.

Ready to see Muu?

I posted each Muu in the exact order that I made them. First the red guy, then green etc. They are each unique and completely hand stitched. I used mostly vintage buttons for the eyes. Some of them have different colored bottoms that match the eye bands. The tiny purple and orange guy is wearing goggles, you can’t tell well from the angle. While some of them are close in size, each is slightly different due to me making no patterns.

I hope you all enjoy them! They make me happy.
