I still have to buy some really tiny paint brushes and do a little touch up work/detailing (like his nose and the brim of his hat). But, other than that he’s done! He’s kind of fun, I like pink and black together and it’s a simple little design I did. Enjoy!
I’m getting close to being done with the blue gorilla plushie for my brother. He’s half stuffed now. He looks kind of silly so I’m not sure about posting the picture. He needs to be fully sewn and stuffed. But, since I always show an ‘in progress’ picture of my other big plushies, I’ll show one of this guy!
The design was taken from one of my brother’s favorite dunny’s. He’s quite exaggerated, but I think he’ll come out nice!
After showing my brother my blue lion, he decided he wanted me to make him a gorilla! It’s a design based off the blue gorilla dunny. I will of course post a picture of the finished piece, but in the mean time here’s the drawing of what it will roughly look like! I even already started cutting the felt!
The picture quality isn’t great. I’m also currently thinking about reversing the dark and light blue placement, so as to make it not quite as similar to the lion. Any suggestions, thoughts, opinions?

This is what my word space looked like yesterday when I was working on my lion. It’s a bit messy looking but I have lots of little fun things. I always enjoy cleaning it up after I work too, maybe I’ll take another picture soon.

I have a few tokidokie things these days! I have my big cat that my brother got me for my birthday, a little kitty that my mom got me for fun, that just so happened to be the same one I got James for Christmas! I also have a hoodie (so cute) and my dad bought me an adorable his and her pillow cases! But, I can’t open those until James is here!

I found a picture! It’s the second one I made. The first one is in the possession of james, it’s a little thing. This guy is just what he is, he’s really happy! I made him June 2009. I put a picture of him on my tumblr where I put other things I make or find and talk about my life!

Here are some pictures of what I made James for Valentines day! It’s a book called The Hugging Bunny. There are four pictures that I took but there are more pages in the book that you can’t see.
I’m going to expand the story and neaten up the drawings and submit it to be published as a children’s book. At least, I think I would like to. My parents seemed to think it was good enough.
James opened it this morning. He thinks it’s really cute.

This is Chibi Totoro! I made him last night and finished sewing him together today. I ordered Ponyo and the re-release of My Neighbor Totoro the other day and am now so excited! I love Studio Ghibli films. They’re so gorgeous and happy. I can’t wait to see Ponyo and Totoro again.
In my moment of obsessiveness I’ve been looking at Ghibli things online. Like the Ghibli Museum which I have to visit one day. With all my looking around I was inspired to make this little guy! He’s not stuffed, just two felt pieces sewn together. I’ll make another one that will be stuffed, with a little leaf umbrella. Maybe I’ll make the next one up too? Who knows!
